Pre-Clinical Lab

The Pre-Clinical Lab comprises Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry labs, equipped with microscopes, anatomical models, charts, slides, reagents, and other essential teaching aids as per INC norms. These labs provide students with a strong foundation in basic sciences, enabling them to understand the structure and function of the human body, microbial principles, and biochemical processes essential for safe and effective nursing practice.

Nursing Foundation, Adult Health Nursing & Simulation Labs

The Nursing Foundation, Adult Health Nursing, and Simulation Labs are well equipped to provide hands-on training in both fundamental and advanced nursing procedures. The labs are furnished with 10 cots, male and female multifunctional manikins, CPR manikin, IV arm training model, surgical instruments, and other essential teaching–learning articles as prescribed by INC norms. These facilities enable students to practice clinical skills, enhance critical thinking, and gain confidence through simulated real-life patient care scenarios.

Community Health Nursing Lab

The Community Health Nursing Lab is equipped with puppets, posters, flash cards, community bags, models, and all essential teaching–learning resources as per INC norms. It provides students with hands-on training in community assessment, health education, preventive care, and nutrition, preparing them for effective practice in diverse community settings.

Nutrition Lab

The Nutrition Lab is equipped with food models, charts, diet planning tools, and adequate kitchen articles/items, along with other essential teaching aids as per INC norms. It enables students to learn and practice diet assessment, therapeutic nutrition, meal planning, and community nutrition education in a hands-on environment.

Child Health Nursing Lab

The Child Health Nursing Lab is well-equipped with newborn models, newborn CPR manikins, toddler manikins, growth charts, pediatric equipment, and essential teaching aids as per INC norms. It provides students with hands-on training to develop skills in child assessment, immunization, neonatal care, and management of common pediatric conditions in a safe and supervised learning environment.

Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing Lab

The Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing Lab is well-equipped with female manikins, advanced childbirth models, gynecological examination models, breast examination models, episiotomy models, placenta models, fetal development models, suturing pads, OBG instruments, pelvis & fetal skulls, along with other essential teaching aids as per INC norms. It provides students with hands-on training in antenatal, intranatal, postnatal, and gynecological care, safe delivery practices, and clinical procedures, ensuring a realistic and supervised learning environment to develop competence and confidence.

Audio-Visual (AV) Aids Lab

The Audio-Visual (AV) Aids Lab is equipped with projectors, smart boards, LCD screens, computers, and audio-visual teaching aids to facilitate interactive and technology-driven learning. It supports theoretical and practical sessions, seminars, workshops, and simulation-based learning, enhancing students’ understanding and retention of nursing concepts.

Sports

The institution provides adequate playground facilities and a wide range of sports equipment for both indoor and outdoor games. Students are actively encouraged and supported to participate in zonal, state, and national-level sports competitions, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and overall personality development.

Cultural

The institution promotes cultural activities such as role play, solo song, group song, adaptune, speech, drawing, poetry, doodle art, and essay writing to enhance creativity, confidence, teamwork, and expressive skills among nursing students. Students are motivated and encouraged to participate in intra- and inter-college cultural competitions, fostering holistic personality development.

Scholarship

SC/ST Scholarship: Eligible for tuition assistance of ₹45,000/year.
BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship: Government Quota students receive ~₹10,000/year.
Minority Scholarship: Based on performance, approximately ₹30,000/year.
First Graduation: Eligible students receive ~₹20,000/year.
Pudhumai Penn Scholarship: Government school students receive ₹1,000/year.

RO Plant
